Weekend Get-A-Way

Can I just say, I love to get away! Jessie, the dogs and I spent four very relaxing days in July at our favorite spot on the Platte River. Scotch, our farm dog, was in heaven running free and found plenty of bones to chew and bury. All the while, Maddox was quite content wading in the river and napping in the sun. And Jessie and I got in some much needed hammock time and a little fishing. I don't actually like to "catch" them...just happy if I can fool them for a second! :)

Oh, the places you'll go...

Kashmira graduated! And what a fun party with all of her friends and neighbors to celebrate!!! These teenagers make me feel old...gosh. But what a great mix of people from the cutie pie little ones to the relaxed retirees. Congratulation Kash, I wish you all the best.

Spring Time

I love the first few weeks of spring here when it's so pretty and green. That's one thing I definitely miss about Tennessee.

Number Two is on the way...

Tara is pregnant with her second baby, and we are all VERY excited to meet him. We got to spend the afternoon in the park, and just missed the rain...whew! Baby Vann coming soon...only a few weeks to go!
